About
Drew Johnson’s drive to help move the world away from fossil fuels and to cleaner energy sources was sparked at San Jose State University where he became more aware of environmental issues and, subsequently, earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies.
With more than seven years of experience in the solar industry, Drew has been involved in all aspects of the field, including working as an installer, solar project specialist, state-certified electrician, and chief inspector tasked with managing a team of field inspectors that examined both residential and commercial solar systems across the nation.
His strong construction and electrical background, renewable energy-related experience and technical expertise give him a well-rounded knowledge of the industry and how everything works from the site survey and design process to the installation.
Drew has more than 300 solar system installations under his belt, including both residential and commercial projects, but he specializes in new construction designs and major remodels. He also has an advanced understanding of grid-tied solar systems with battery backup and prides himself in being both knowledgeable and honest.
The die-hard San Jose Sharks fan spends his free time remodeling his home and hanging out with his family and friends.
